QuaERDとは
QuaERD（quaERD）は、合同会社リーフルーフ（Leafroof LLC）が提供するER図・データベース設計ツールです。Tauri製デスクトップアプリで、論理名・物理名を使った設計、DB接続、SQL解析、AI/MCP連携、設計成果物の生成を扱います。公開インストーラーはWindows x64向けです。
既存DBの構造をER図で把握する、テーブル・カラム・関連を設計する、SQLの推定実行計画を確認する、設計書やPillar運用ツールを生成するといった作業に利用できます。
機能と対応範囲
- ER図編集
- テーブル、カラム、論理名・物理名、INDEX、関連、グループ、メモを編集します。プロジェクトはJSON形式の
.qerdに保存します。 - 対応DB方言
- MySQL、MariaDB、TiDB、PostgreSQL、SQL Server、SQLite、Oracle、ClickHouse。方言ごとに接続方法、必要ツール、利用できる機能が異なります。
- SQLツール・解析
- SQL実行、履歴、保存SQL、複数タブに対応。8方言の単一SELECT/WITHについて推定実行計画、DB固有項目の説明、INDEX・キー情報、作業中の変更前後比較を提供します。
- SSH・接続管理
- SSHトンネルはMySQL、MariaDB、TiDB、PostgreSQLに対応。接続先一覧、環境ラベル、読取専用設定、OS資格情報保存を備えます。
- AI/MCP連携
- デスクトップ版の「AI連携/MCP」からローカルMCPサーバを起動し、外部AIクライアントと接続します。操作権限を設定できます。削除・ファイル入出力・DB連動には明示的な許可が必要です。接続の詳細は配布物の

- DDL、Entity/DAOなどのコード、Excel・HTML設計書、DB運用用のPillar CRUDツールを生成します。生成物・DB・テンプレート・契約プランにより提供範囲が異なります。
制約・料金・データの扱い
- Web版はデモ用途です。ER図編集やDDL/SQL出力を試せますが、DB接続とAI/MCPサーバ機能は利用できません。
- SQL解析は推定計画です。EXPLAIN ANALYZEによる実測、INDEXの自動作成、解析比較の永続保存は含みません。
- SQL Serverの解析にはSHOWPLAN権限、SQLiteにはsqlite3 CLI、OracleにはSQLcl／SQL*Plusと書込み可能なPLAN_TABLEが必要です。Oracleの計画記録は取得後にロールバックします。
- ERプロジェクトはローカルファイルに保存します。アカウント・ライセンス確認などではサーバ通信があります。外部AIへの送信範囲は利用する連携・クライアントと設定を確認してください。

QuaERD is an ER diagram and database design tool by Leafroof LLC. The reviewed public desktop release is 1.0.12, distributed for Windows x64 and built with Tauri. It supports logical and physical names, tables, columns, indexes, relationships, groups and notes. Projects use local JSON-based .qerd files.
Database dialects: MySQL, MariaDB, TiDB, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, SQLite, Oracle and ClickHouse. Connection methods and feature coverage vary by dialect. The SQL workspace includes execution, history, saved SQL, tabs, estimated execution plans for single SELECT/WITH statements, explanations and session-only before/after comparison.
SSH tunneling supports MySQL, MariaDB, TiDB and PostgreSQL. Saved connections, environment labels, read-only settings and OS credential storage are available. Desktop AI/MCP integration starts a local server with configurable permissions; deletion, file I/O and DB integration require explicit permission. See the bundled AI_MCP_SPEC.md for client setup.
Outputs include DDL, Entity/DAO code, Excel/HTML documentation and Pillar CRUD tools, subject to database, template and plan support. The browser demo does not provide DB connections or AI/MCP. Analysis does not include EXPLAIN ANALYZE, automatic index creation or persistent plan comparisons. SQL Server needs SHOWPLAN permission; SQLite needs its CLI; Oracle needs SQLcl/SQL*Plus and a writable PLAN_TABLE, with plan writes rolled back after retrieval.
Local project storage does not mean all features work offline: account and licensing features communicate with servers. Check the chosen AI integration before sharing project data.
